Madeline loves her new glider chair and especially loves how well her Dad is able to swaddle her to keep her nice and soothed.
I couldn't resist including this one as well - look at her face! I think she's adorable.
Shortly after Madeline was born and cleaned off, she got to get to know her Dad back in the hospital room while I was recovering. We're both amazed at how deliberately she studies her surroundings and seems to take in everything around her.
Of course, Mom wants to share some very cute pictures of Madeline's first few days with us. They don't fit into a tidy narrative like Dad was clever enough to devise, but I still really wanted to get them posted sooner rather than later... There are sure to be more to come - stay tuned as we get settled!
