Madeline was measured at 21 inches long (and Dad thinks that she was shorted an inch) and weighed in at 8 lbs, 7.5 oz. Sizeable, but under what the doctors were betting!
Madeline absolutely loved her first ever shampoo and rinse. She was clearly in a state of bliss. Dad was thinking about the mother/daughter spa days to come.

Madeline Baird Bell couldn't wait to make her arrival, meeting us slightly ahead of schedule on Saturday, June 20th at 9:43am. Dad (Dave) was impressed with her loud cry, appreciating her strong lungs. The best moment was when she met Mom (Rachel) face-to-face for the first time. In a busy, noisy operating room Madeline was quiet as she studied Mom's face intently. It was a beautiful moment, sure to be the first of many. Things were hectic and sleep was in short supply for all of the Bells, but we managed to take a few photos to share here.
